This is my is my 17th year at Centennial Arts Academy as a media specialist. I am very excited and love my job. I get to have contact with every student and teacher in the building. 

I received my Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from Young Harris College in 1990

I received my Bachelor's degree in Social Work from UGA in 1992

I worked as a juvenile parole officer for the State of Georgia for 7 years. I then taught preschool for 3 years at Celebration Christian Academy while I worked on my master's degree. 

I got my Master's in Library Media Technology from Georgia State University in 2009.

 

I have been married to my husband Joe for 27 years. He is also a teacher and teaches middle school math and coaches tennis.

 

We have two sons ages 24 and 22 who are in college.
